01a / About Sodelia

What Sodelia does, in one paragraph.

Sodelia is a software studio based in Toronto, Canada, founded in February 2024. We help growing B2B teams across North America, Europe, and the MENA region replace manual work with custom software, integrations, and automation. Sodelia is the certified partner of Zapier, Bettermode, Formaloo, and Relay.app, and every engagement is run directly by the senior builder delivering it — no junior handoffs after the sales call.

01 / What we do

Three things,
done properly.

Most growing companies end up with some version of the same three problems: manual work that never got automated, tools that don't talk to each other, and software that never got built because there was no one to build it. We solve for all three.

i.
Repetitive work, removed

Automation

We take the repetitive work your team is still doing by hand — lead follow-up, cross-tool coordination, internal tasks — and turn it into automations that just run.

  • Lead routing and follow-up
  • Workflow orchestration
  • AI-assisted internal tasks
ii.
Tools that speak to each other

Integrations

Your CRM, your forms, your community, your billing — we connect them so data moves cleanly and your team stops entering the same thing twice.

  • CRM and revenue operations
  • Forms and community systems
  • Cross-platform syncing
iii.
When the tool doesn't exist

Custom software

When the off-the-shelf tool doesn't fit your workflow, we build the tool. Internal dashboards, partner portals, product features — delivered as real software, not stitched-together spreadsheets.

  • Internal tools
  • Partner and client portals
  • Product features
02 / Recent work

What it's actually
been like to work
with us.

Three clients, three different stacks, three different problems. The feedback that came back was consistent each time — communication, quality of execution, and follow-through.

A long-term technical partner for ongoing projects.

Started as a single engagement and turned into an ongoing relationship because delivery stayed consistent from one project to the next.

Communication that went well past the scope of work.

Regular Zoom walkthroughs kept the build aligned with what the team actually needed — not just what was written in the brief.

04 / How we work

Small increments.
No black boxes.

You see progress every week, not every quarter. We shape each engagement around how your team already operates — you shouldn't have to change the way you work to fit our process.

01

Start with the friction

We walk through the handoffs, duplicated work, and disconnected systems that are slowing your team down today.

02

Map the future state

Before writing code, we agree on what the software, integrations, and automations look like when they work as one system.

03

Build in focused increments

We ship in small pieces you can see running — not a two-month build phase with nothing to show for it until the end.

04

Stay on to maintain

After go-live we keep the system healthy, fix what breaks, and evolve it as your stack and team change.

05 / In their own words

What clients
have said once the
work was done.

Three different clients, three different projects. The feedback points at the same few things every time — communication, quality of execution, and staying close until the work is actually right.

06 / FAQ

Questions we
get all the time.

Straight answers on scope, pricing, timelines, and what working with Sodelia actually looks like.

01What does Sodelia actually do?

We're a software studio based in Toronto, focused on three things: custom software (internal tools, customer portals, data dashboards), platform implementations on top of partners like Zapier, Bettermode, Formaloo, and Relay, and ongoing product engineering for teams without a full in-house function. Everything we ship is designed to be owned by your team eventually — no black boxes.

02Who do you typically work with?

Growing B2B SaaS and services companies — usually teams of 20 to 300 people with a product but without enough engineering or ops capacity to build everything they need internally. We do our best work with founders, heads of ops, and VPs of customer success who have a clear problem to solve but need a thoughtful partner to execute it.

03What does pricing look like?

Project work is fixed-fee, scoped against a written statement of work. Typical projects land in the $8–80k CAD range depending on scope. After launch, most clients move to a monthly retainer ($2–12k CAD/month) covering iteration, new features, and platform upkeep. We're transparent about rates before the first proposal — no surprises.

04How long does a typical engagement take?

Short-cycle work — a platform implementation, a data pipeline rescue, a customer-facing form system — is typically 3 to 8 weeks from kickoff to launch. Larger custom software builds run 10 to 20 weeks. We work in two-week sprints with demos at the end of each, so you see real progress instead of waiting for a big reveal.

05Do you work remotely, on-site, or hybrid?

We're based in Toronto but operate fully distributed. We work with clients across North America and Europe. Core collaboration happens async in Slack and Linear, with one or two live working sessions per week. On-site days in Toronto are available for clients in the GTA who want them.

06What makes you different from a typical agency or freelancer?

Three things. One, we're engineers first — every project is led by someone who writes code, not a project manager translating for a developer. Two, we're deliberately small (3 to 6 people) so the team you meet is the team who ships. Three, we pick platforms (Zapier, Bettermode, Formaloo, Relay) instead of building everything custom — so you get results faster and keep ownership longer.

07Can you work alongside our existing engineering team?

Yes — about half our engagements are embedded alongside internal teams. We've integrated with engineering orgs running everything from small Rails monoliths to large Kubernetes shops. We match your stack, your code review process, and your deployment cadence. No parallel infrastructure, no handoff tax.

08How do we get started?

Book a 30-minute call. We'll walk through where your team is today, what's stuck, and sketch what we'd build in the first 60 days. If there's a fit, we write a short SOW within a week. If there isn't, we'll say so and point you toward who we think could help.

Let's see

a fit.
